3 Mths – 2 Yrs
Our Teenies room benefits from being a home from home environment, well equipped with educational and stimulating equipment and resources to assist in the development of your baby through their formative months.
From day one, you and your child will have a dedicated “key person” who ensures that all his/her/your needs are met throughout the day, whilst planning the next steps within your child’s development. We provide a separate sleep room for those all-important nap times, which is constantly monitored, and temperature controlled. Our routine allows for staff to support children’s individual routines ensuring a continuity of their care from home to nursery. The EYFS curriculum is followed, encouraging learning through play which is supported by the different areas and opportunities within the room; home area, cozy book area, sand and water play, story & singing time, and a messy play area for having fun and generally getting messy!
Mealtimes are a social event and whatever stage your baby is at, we will ensure that balanced healthy meals are enjoyed. Our Teenie children have the use of their own secure garden area with a sand pit, playhouse, climbing slide, role play plus much more and are encouraged to explore in all weather.
Staff ratios within this room are 1:3.
